Weekly Rundown

Hello me hearties... pray tell the summer is treating you well.
  • I spent 2 glorious weeks playing aunt full time and I must say I am getting better and better with my niece. We bonded and even created our own little games. Leaving her to return to the Chi was hard.
  • There has been some movement on the case of the librarian. I will not say what lest I jinx it. I should be able to give you a detailed rundown on the matter in 2 weeks.
  • I am in the middle of a wedding marathon. Could people please ease off the wedding pedal. I now feel obligated to bring a date when I go to dinner with friends.
  • Recently, I discovered the joy that is the telenovela, Spanish soaps in case you have never heard the term. The over acting does it for me. I have watched the train wreck that is the Amando - Julia - Mariana storyline on Las Aparicio everyday for the past 4 weeks. Other than the over acting, I figure this is the fastest way to learn spoken Spanish. The fact that the Aparicio sisters are easy on the eyes has nothing to do with it.
  • I am an avid reader of several blogs. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that 2 of my fellow bloggers [Foxy and SweetT] are now dating. If you haven't stumbled upon their blogs I must inquire as to what you have been reading.
  • Speaking of bloggers a close friend of mine has taken up the blogging mantle. She is a writer so her blog reads a lot better than mine. Swing on by if you find yourself with a moment to spare.
  • And finally I would like to wish Sheena a happy relocation. She is moving from Japan to Australia this weekend.

Oh my! I cannot wait to read what happens with The Librarian. Anxious!

LMAO at you watching telenovela! It is funny to me as well the few times I have paused in my channel surfing. I might watch it more so we can laugh and learn Spanish together. Lol

Awww, thank you for the mention.

I agree with the celibacy statement! Lol
